Eugenia "Tibby" Tedrick

CASEY -- Eugenia W. "Tibby" Tedrick, 89, of Casey, IL, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday (March 24, 2004) at Heartland Manor Nursing Home. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Markwell and Son Funeral Home, in Casey, with the Rev. Dennis Steckley officiating. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. She was born April 2, 1914, in Mattoon, daughter of William Victor Barker and Estella Amelia Barton Barker. She married Myron Ray "Jim" Tedrick on June 4, 1937; he died Nov. 6, 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Rue and husband Ron of Casey, IL and Nancy Cummins of Lake Zurich, IL; daughter-in-law, Anne Tedrick of Lancaster, CA; six grandchildren, Tatia Beckwith and husband Bob, Candice Sunseri and husband Reid, Michael Cummins and wife Ann, Adam Rue and wife Elizabeth, James and Beth Tedrick; six great-grandchildren, Jordan Beckwith, Rylan, Brayden, Talia Sunseri, Mia Rue and Evan Cummins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, James Lee Tedrick; one brother, Russell Barker; four sisters, Esther Merrill, Alberta Sullivan, Irene Tinch and Margaret Mason; and one son-in-law, Lynn Cummins. Mrs. Tedrick was a homemaker and former teacher. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Casey, former member of the Casey Country Club and Toast Mistress Club.
