Barb and Family, You have our deepest sympathy for your loss. I felt that Gene was one of the very finest gentlemen that I ever knew. He was a very steady golfer with his famous five wood. I enjoyed riding on the buldozer with him when working in the fields. He was a fine road commissioner and loved his family very much. May God bless you all and you will be on our prayers. Ed Behm

I know today has been a long day for all of you and how difficult it must be to say good bye. My thoughts have been with you throughout yesterday and today. I'm sure "Daddy Gene" (as my Dad used to call him) was as proud of all of you as you are of him.

When I think back of coming to your house to see Jean I think of a big roaring fire in the fireplace and WKRP on the TV.

Be thankful that he was part of your lives.
