Mike? I'm sorry, brother. I'm sorry that it took me so long to look you up only to find out that you had passed. My mom used to talk about seeing you every so often and that you asked about how I was doing, every time. Words can't express how much you meant to me during a very stressful time in my life. I looked up to you, you were epitome of cool and nonchalant. You opened my eyes to S.E. Hinton books and you stood beside me when no one else seemed to care for the new, awkward kid in the 7th grade. I remember all of those nights playing cards and dice with you and my mom. You were a great friend and I wish that I had been less self absorbed and been a better friend to you. I moved to South Florida 20 years ago and I could have reached out a long time ago.

So many emotions, saddness, pain and anger that some of my dearest friends had to go through such pain and suffering and the loss of a wonderful guy. So much I would like to say no words to say them! You will be missed but if we listen close we will hear your beautiful music filling heaven and earth when we need calming of inner soul. Music is best medicine!! Play on!!!

I feel I was blessed to have known Mike and to have him as one of my true friends. He was a great man! I am so sad he is gone from us here on earth. I will hold him in my heart as always and I know that one day I will see him again. I am sure God is happy he is home! It makes me smile and dries up my tears to think he is up there saying, "Attitude check"! :o) Rock on Mike Allen!!!!

Mike stopped by the shop about ten days ago and we were so glad to see him. He worked for me and played for the Van club for so many times and I felt like he was a young brother I never had. He will be playin in a great band now and a welcome addition!Rock the Clouds Mike!

Mike, if a smile spoke a thousand words then yours spoke millions.
I will miss you and Beelzebub doing your "10" mile walk past my house in the summer.
The memory of you running across the yard with pieces of clothing being put on to get to work on time, and as you walked in the door looking up and saying "a minute to spare".
Mike, I guess what I'm are wanting to say is that "I WILL MISS YOU!!!!" and thanks for the memories.

Last time I saw Mike was halloween at Spankys 2010 - he came up to me and said - do you remember me - how could you forget a kind spirit as Mike. Mike truly touched many lives and will be missed by all who loved the person he was. I'm so sorry for your loss - too early in his life... Always remember to talk about the good times you had with Mike so you can past them down through your generations. Peace and God Bless You All.You were blessed to have Mike while he was here.

I first met Capper when I worked at Samuel Music when it was in the mall in Mattoon. He had to be about 10 at the time, but I always enjoyed talking music to him. He had a good knowledge of music and a maturity for his age and as he grew older it became evident that he had a real talent. I saw him about a month ago, and as usual it was a pleasure to talk to him. He was a wonderful person and a gifted musician and I will miss seeing him. My thoughts are with him and his family.

I have known Mikey for a long time,but here the last 6 monthes I have worked at the Oasis and have had the priveledge of him gracing me with his presents everyday at least until Saturday the 1st when my life was left with an empty spot from not having my buddy stop by to say hello and call me a big dummy for some reason and justso u all know he got that from sanford and sons (he loved that show):)So here's to u Mikey u big dummy I will see u again someday u are only a breath away until then i will hold u in my heart for the very special friend that u are we love u and miss u!!!thanks for rocking us out one last time!!!!
