Raymond Hinterscher Sr.

DIETERICH - Raymond "Ray" L. Hinterscher Sr., 75, of Dieterich died at 5:05 p.m. Monday (April 2, 2012) at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ingraham Christian Church in Ingraham. Private burial will be at Hinterscher Family Cemetery in Ingraham. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich. He was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Clay County, the son of Lawrence and Gwendolyn Ash Hinterscher. He married Betty Price in 1960; she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Ray Hinterscher Jr. of Dieterich, and Eugene Hinterscher of McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Penny Phipps of Benton; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one half-brother. Mr. Hinterscher was formerly employed with the Montrose and Dieterich school districts. He was a member of Ingraham Christian Church.
