Stacey Colbert Obituary

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Stacey Beth Colbert, 23, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Charleston, IL, died in 1998. A remembrance gathering will be conducted 5 to 9 p.m Sunday, Dec. 19, at the Ohio State University Longaberger Alumni House, 2200 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stacey Beth Colbert Memorial Fund in care of Union County Foundation, P.O. Box 608 , Marysville, OH. The Underwood Funeral Home, Marysville, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.staceybethcolbert.com. She was born Feb. 3, 1975 in Chicago, and grew up in Charleston, IL. She moved to Columbus in 1994 to attend Ohio State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Stacey was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and the American Marketing Association. She worked as a marketing assistant with American Electric Power. Her internships included marketing assistant for McDonalds and Coca-Cola at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and fashion merchandising for the Atlanta Apparel Mart. A 1993 graduate of Charleston High School, she played varsity tennis, was involved in cheerleading, the "Trojets" drill team, chorus, and musicals. Survivors include her mother, Ronna Lynn Spira Colbert of Scotsdale, AZ; her father, Lawrence Colbert of Decatur, GA; a sister, Danielle (Bryan) Nusbaum of Marysville; and grandparents, Leonard and Frances Spira of Edina, MN and Esther Colbert of University Heights.
