I was so sorry to hear about Velma.

We lived across the street from her and Ike. Dad and Ike worked together and Velma was our favorite nurse. So sorry to find that she is no longer with us, but I am sure she will be well received in the next world and will be happy to see Ike and all her old friends.

Dear Bob and John, It has been many years since I have seen any of you, but wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. We lived across the street from your mother on South 16th St. when I was growing up. My dad worked with Ike for many years at the Cumberlad Coaches. Your mother was a kind thoughtful person and we all loved her. My best to you and your families. Sincerely, Virginia Hines Smith
