Alice R Williams

Alice R. Williams of Trumann departed this life Wednesday, September 17th at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 95 years, 1 month and 7 days. She was born Sunday, August 10, 1930 in Marked Tree, AR to the late William Earl and Ruth "Tillie" Boyd Morris. She was a housewife and of the Southern Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Williams; two sisters, Billie F. Blasingame, Juanita Zahn; and one brother, James Morris. She is survived by one daughter, Jayne Reed of Iola, KS; grandchildren, Kyle Humphreys, Lyle (Christina) Humphreys, Alicia (Robert) Switzer; four great-grandchildren, David Humphreys, Kerith Humphreys, Sadie Humphreys and Adaline Humphreys; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating. Private burial will be Monday at 10:30 at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be David Reed, Lyle Humphreys, Kyle Humphreys, David Humphreys, Glen Miller and Ricky Mitchell. In lieu of flowers donations to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
