Charles Ramsey Obituary

Charles Ramsey Jr., 90 of Walnut Ridge passed away September 7, 2025, in Jonesboro at the St. Bernards Medical Center. Born January 12, 1935, in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Charles and Bell Ramsey. He served in the National Guard but spent most of his life working as a farmer and loved doing woodwork of any kind. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Elioise Ramsey; one son, Charles Randall Ramsey; one sister, Dicie Lee; and two half-brothers, Elmer and Clyde Ramsey. Survivors include his two children, John (Catherine) Ramsey of Walnut Ridge, and Tammy (Jim) Alati of Vancouver, WA; five grandchildren, Casey Guidinger, Jerry Tillery, Jonathan Lewis, Rebecca Ramsey, and Jeffery Ramsey; five great grandchildren, Peppier, Foxx, Jude, Tristan, and Hannah; two nieces, Eileen Roach of Pocahontas, and Mary Roach of Broken Arrow, OK; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Bryan Funeral Home. Interment of his cremains will take place at a later date by the family in the Potter Cemetery.
