David Dickey Terrell, 78, a lifetime resident of Jonesboro, died Thursday, October 16, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was a member of First Church of Jonesboro. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Having retired from General Electric, he was very active in his church, where he was an usher for many years, and was a volunteer for the church medical ministry. He also drove the food truck, for the food pantry. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Jeanine and Bill Taylor.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Kay Terrell, of the home; stepson, Mike Watson and wife Jennifer of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
