Gary Michael Smith departed from this life February 9, 2025, from his home in Jonesboro. He was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, November 6th, 1952.
Gary was a proud member of The United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Lejuene in North Carolina, and spent time in Okinawa. He worked for Quebecor for 22 years.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Rita Foster Smith; his siblings: Larry Smith of California, Barry Smith of Illinois; Kerri Carter (Perry Byrd) of Jonesboro; Terry Smith and Justin Smith of Arkansas; brother-in-law Barry (Carolyn) Foster; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. Smith and Betty Sue Collier (Greer).
Gary loved his family. They will forever treasure his memory. He had a love for Harley Davidson. No services are planned at this time.
