John Fitzgerald Cheney

John Fitzgerald Cheney, 61, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on October 28, 2025 at his home. He was born on June 24, 1964 in Monette, Arkansas to Franklin Eugene and Eula Mae Huckabee Cheney. He was a Christian and was a member of the Monette Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed watching Chicago sports, especially the Cubs, and collecting flashlights and knives. He loved his dogs Daisy and Julie. Survivors include; two sons: John Cheney, Jr. (Savannah) of Cash, Arkansas and Craig Reed (Amy) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters: Crystal Stone of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Melissa Wright (Robert) of Kentucky; one brother: Kim Cheney of Arizona; one sister: Tammy White of Utah; seven grandchildren: Gracie Mae, Broly Ray, Carlee, Ceara, Cayden, Christopher, and Brylee; friend: Tracy Reed and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Franklin Eugene and Eula Mae Cheney; and mother-in-law: Daphne Reed. The family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
