Mary Louise Beck

Mary Louise Beck, 91, of Salem, Missouri, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at her home. Mary was born on September 28, 1934, in Ensign, Kansas, to the late Robert Atkins and Nellie (Wilson) Atkins. She worked as anadministrative assistant for the telephone company and was a devoted member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Pocahontas at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 54 years, Arless C. Beck; brothers, Leroy Atkins, Cecil Atkins, Bob Atkins, and Jim Atkins. Mary is lovingly survived by her daughter, Christina M. Suggett and husband David Suggett; grandchildren: Thomas Foster, Jonathan Spurlock, Dakota Spurlock, and Trenton Suggett; and her sisters: Beverly Atkins Hand and Bonnie Atkins Rinehardt. She also leaves behind many other relatives and dear friends who will miss her greatly. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM, also at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel, with Dan Avery officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Blackwell, Trenton Suggett, Robert Atkins, Dakoda Spurlock, Brent Kee, and Jonathan Spurlock. Honorary pallbearer is Mark Atkins.
