Patricia Hawken Obituary

Patricia Ann Hawken, 65, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 5, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1960, at Edwards Air Force Base in California to MSGT Homer Arthur Hostler and Doris Barnett Hostler. Patricia was a member of the Church of Christ. Her passion was cosmetology, and she worked many years making people feel beautiful. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, MSGT Homer Arthur Hostler; her son, Scotty Joe Crisp; her maternal grandparents, Jess and Claudia Barnett; and her paternal grandparents, Clyde and Lorene Hostler. She is survived by her loving mother, Doris Hostler; her daughter, Ch. Capt. Amber Kunkel and husband, Andy Kunkel; and her cherished grandchildren: Lauryn Crisp, Adam Crisp, Ashley Matz, Ally Kunkel, Matthew Bautista, and Sophia Escobedo. She is also survived by her brother, Steven Craig Hostler and wife, Rhonda Hostler, along with many other beloved family members and friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Randolph Memorial Gardens. Patricia will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and the deep love she had for her family.
