Phillip Jones Obituary

Phillip Eugene Jones, 67, of Pocahontas, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Phillip was born on November 27, 1957, in Missouri to Doyle Lavell Jones and Dorothy (Hill) Jones. He was a man of quiet strength, deep loyalty, and steady kindness. Phillip worked hard throughout his life and found his greatest joy in the time spent with family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Dorothy Jones, and his brothers, Tom Jones and Johnny Jones. Phillip is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Judy Kingston Jones; daughters, Nicole (Mike) Saunders of Piggott and Jessica (Chris) Vines of Batesville; son, Jacob (Melody) Reeves of Paragould; brother, Randy Jones of Pocahontas; and sister, Eva (Jimmy) Neece of Pocahontas. He was a proud grandfather to Kyleigh (Clint) Scribner, Brayden and Brogan Vines, Izzy Bean, James, Dixie, and Ruari Saunders, and Julie Ann and Lillian Reeves. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory. All services will be private and under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
