Wilma Byrd Obituary

Wilma Jean Byrd, 70, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on September 28, 2025 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1955 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Hubert Green and Clarice Bell (Kinchen) Green. Wilma enjoyed fishing, watching hummingbirds, cooking out, and spending time with her children and family. Survivors include; two daughters: Bridget Miller of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Cynthia Veer (Joe) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one son (the baby): Brandon Miller (Summer) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers: Timmy Green (Shannon) of Blytheville, Arkansas and Bobby Green (Patricia) of Blytheville, Arkansas; two sisters: Tammy Quach (Tien) of Gosnell, Arkansas and Barbara Gray (Anthony) of Branson, Missouri; three sister in laws: Joyce Hulsey Green of Gosnell, Arkansas, Joyce Ann Green of Gosnell, Arkansas, Neda Green of Gosnell, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: Hubert Green and Clarice Bell (Kinchen) Green; and eight brothers: Billie Thomas, Arlie Green, Elmer Green, William Thomas "Tommy", Leon Green, Dennie Green, Ronnie Green, and Roy Green. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Pocahontas, Arkansas with Pastor Dan Avery officiating.
