Betty Sandlin Obituary
CARAWAY - Betty June Jones Sandlin, 88, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, at her home. She was born June 10, 1934, in Childress to the late Arch and Wilma Lowry Jones.
Mrs. Betty worked at Basler Electric for 33 years. She was a homemaker, who was an avid reader, and enjoyed needlework and watching game shows, especially "Jeopardy." She loved her family.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Rogers, three sisters, Mary Jones, Estella Wright and Leota King, and a daughter, Billy Sue Foster.
She is survived by her children, Rene Defries (Lynn) and Jerry Foster, all of Caraway, and Ricky Foster (Susan) of Missouri; grandchildren, Nikia Womack (Greg), Chris Defries, Amanda Weathers, Ashley Cobb (Jarrett) and Dustin Foster; great-grandchildren, Kayli Chovanec (Reese), Devin Mason (Andrew), Hannah Shinall, John Marcus Shinall, Aubrey Defries, Klaire Womack, Owen Cobb, McKinlee Weathers and Cameron Foster; and great-great-grandchildren, Addilynn Defries, Jenna Turner, Oaklynn Turner, Owen Mason and Charlie Mason.
A graveside service to celebrate her life was held Tuesday in Pine Log Cemetery. Interment followed under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
