TRUMANN - Bobie W. "Bob" Richey of Trumann departed this life Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by his family.

Bob was born April 6, 1940, to the late Woodrow and Maggie Richey in Lake City.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 43 years, Thelma Lee Hayes Richey, a grandson, Burtton Corbin, and two brothers, Dallas Richey and Jerry Richey.

Bob is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Burt) Corbin and Sherri (James) Lowery; three grandchildren, Courtney (Tyler) Watkins, Autumn Corbin and Aaron Lowery; three great-grandsons, Maddox Watkins, Reed Watkins and Harrison Watkins; two sisters, Lou Carner and Janette Richey; and three brothers, Clifton Richey, Larry Richey and Ronnie Richey.

He was a member of First Christian Church in Trumann and attended First General Baptist Church with his family for the last several years of his life.

Bob cared so much for his family that he joined the Air Force for four years and helped provide for his family.

He then majored in sociology before becoming a caseworker for Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. He always loved spending time with his family and friends.

Services were Monday at First General Baptist Church in Trumann. Burial will be private at a later date.
