JONESBORO - Christy Lynn Dycus, 70, entered her Heavenly home Dec. 10, 2025, at The Springs of Jonesboro after a lengthy illness. She was born June 15, 1955, a daughter of the late Jimmy Rogers and Virginia Blake Rogers.
Christy was a Westside High School graduate. She attended LaVera's Beauty School and was a licensed beautician. She loved collecting dolls and playing the piano. Bella, her beloved fur baby, brought her endless comfort and companionship. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
In addition to her parents, Christy was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Dycus. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ronda Jernigan James.
Christy is survived by her daughter, Angela Thomas, of Morrilton. She is also survived by her two sisters, Debbie Rogers and Renee (Tom) O'Connor; one brother, Paul (Lisa) Rogers, all of Jonesboro; two grandsons, Daeron and Blake James of Conway; along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
A graveside service to honor her life will be Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. at Old Enterprise Cemetery off Hasbrook Road in Jonesboro. Gary Cremeens will officiate at the service under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. All other services are private.
For lasting memorials in remembrance of Christy, contributions may be made to any local food bank in Jonesboro.
