BLYTHEVILLE - Vinson Douglas "Doug" Weaver, 64 of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at his home.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., he was the son of the late Douglas Elworth and Mary Greer Weaver and had been a Blytheville area resident since 1980.
He had been a longtime employee of Tool Tech of Blytheville and Nucor-Yamato Steel in Blytheville before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed a wide variety of different genres of music, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, deer hunting and the Kansas City Chiefs.
He was passionate about his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Scharel Corley and Belinda McLean.
Survivors include two daughters, Blair Davis of Manila and Valerie Hannaford and her husband Aaron of Blytheville; one sister, Wanda Beach of Springdale. He also leaves four grandchildren, Aspen Potts, Leyton Rose, Tucker Davis and Mila Hannaford.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.
