Ima Lansdell Obituary
TRUMANN - Ima Jean Lansdell, 80, of Trumann, departed this life Monday, June 16, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born Sept. 10, 1944, in and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She owned Jean's Ceramics and loved working at a daycare taking care of children and loved to cook. Jean was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lansdell; her parents, Lester and Ethel Rogers Sheppard; four sisters, Mary Phipps, Helen Purcell, Marie Kincaid Cagle, and Pat Ashley; and two brothers, Allen Pace and Bobby Sheppard.
She is survived by one daughter, Jenna Hogan of Trumann; three granddaughters, Hayden Coin, Ariel Weaver and Brianna Weaver; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jay Pippinger, Derek Pippinger, Danny Pippinger, Joey Sheppard, Randy Jeffers and Greg Green.
Visitation was Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of life followed in the chapel at 1:30 p.m., where Reverend Larry Loggins and Reverend Kevin Carter officiated. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery.
