JONESBORO - Jane Ellen Pausch, 77, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 27, 2023. She was born to the late Guy and Mary Osment on Jan. 31, 1946. Jane was a member of Highland Drive Baptist Church.
Jane and her husband, Von, established VJ Pausch Industries doing business as Can-Do Concrete Systems, Inc., building concrete self-haul and full-scale ready-mix batch plants. They sold the company to Acrowood South, and he and Jane retired in 1989.
She loved visiting with her girls in the Birthday Club and traveling with her best friend, Shirley Winn, and sister, Kay Bauer; they were known as the Golden Girls. But most important, was her relationship with her family; Jane absolutely loved her daughters and being involved in their lives and was a mother to many of their friends.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Von Pausch, sister, Kay Bauer, and brother-in-law, Larry Bauer.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Andrea Cook (son-in-law, David Cook) and Cassie Kersey (Gary Jones), all of Jonesboro; and grandchildren, Cameron Frangenberg (Kaylin Townsend), Logan Cook (Madi Booth) and Kyle Kersey (Brianna Graham).
The visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday with the celebration of her life following at 10:30 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Hutchison officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or your local humane society.
