Jimmy Creecy Obituary
JONESBORO - Jimmy Wayne Creecy Sr., departed from this life Sunday, April 13, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born Aug. 23, 1949, in Keiser, to the late Willie James and Ellen Lorene Nichols Creecy. Jimmy was a cabinet maker at Creecy Custom Cabinets. He was member of First Baptist Church. He loved to fish, work in the yard, an avid football fan, and flea marketer. He was preceded in death by three sisters; Linda Householder, Carolyn Scrape and Shirley Barnett, and his parents.
He is survived by two sons, Clint (Anna) Creecy of Jonesboro, and Jimmy (Jaycee) Creecy of Trumann; two daughters, Paula (Stanley) Whitt of Harrisburg, and Katie (Scott) Hellums of Jonesboro; one sister, Barbara Green of Trumann; one brother, Billy Creecy of Trumann; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be Friday at 10 a.m. with Reverend Anthony Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clint Creecy, Jimmy Creecy, Scott Hellums, Stanley Whitt, Jerry Holt, Jordan Hale and Bubba Blackwood.
