MORRIS CHAPEL, Tenn - Margaret Francis "Mamaw" Huss, 92, of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, Oct. 26 at the family residence. She was born Jan. 10, 1933 in Tyronza. Mrs. Huss was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing card games and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved all the holidays and get-togethers with good food, family and friends with lots of fun. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Leon "Papaw" Huss; two daughters, Frances Marie Brillhart and Lola Rena Mink Stacks; one son, Marshall Wayne Huss; two grandchildren, Michelle Jane Huss and Alisa Gail Sanabria; two sisters, Dorothy "Zan" Morton and Martha "Bo" Barnes; three brothers, Alvin "Brother" Gray, Floyd "Tommy" Gray and Finis "Bunky" Gray; and is the daughter of the late Finis Grover and Augusta Birmingham Gray.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Tony) Gray of Morris Chapel, TN; grandchildren, Allen (Kayla) Brillhart, Brian Brillhart, Nino Sanabria, Deanne (Galen) Powell, Marshall (Brittany) Huss, Jonathan (Wendy) Mink, Joshua (Kara) Mink, Diana (Steve) Dabit, Donavan Stacks, Candice Gray, Angela (Scott) Gayden, Rebekah (Miles) Cooper; her protector Opie; 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
Family and friends were received Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of life will be Thursday, October 30 at 10 a.m. with a visitation at 9 a.m., in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.. Burial will follow at Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis around 12 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Allen Brillhart, Brian Brillhart, Marshall Huss, Jonathan Mink, Joshua Mink and Miles Cooper.
In lieu of flowers you are welcome to send donations to Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., West TN or Shelby Shines on Foundation.
