JONESBORO - Margaret Geneva Williams, 89, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at her home.

She was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Round Pond to John Oliver and Myrtle Cross Lamons.

She worked for Head Start for 20 years until retirement. She loved crafting, quilting, fishing and travel.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years, Aubrey Williams, two sisters, Edna Whittingham and Nancy Hosman, and two brothers, John and Carl Lee Lamons.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Margaret include three sons, Billy Williams, Jerry Williams and Kerry Williams; grandchildren, Amy Lynn Williams, Carsley Paige Fuller and Sarah Megan Williams; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Preston Williams, Mackenzie Williams, Ethan Williams and Jocelyn Fuller; two brothers, James Lamons and Robert Lamons; and sisters, Janie Whittingham, Mary Taylor, Betty Burch and Patricia Sanford.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery with Albert Camp officiating.

Visitation will precede the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave. in Jonesboro.
