Muriel Turner Obituary
TRUMANN - Muriel Jean Turner of Trumann departed this life Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 78. She was born in Lepanto and lived her life in the Trumann and Lepanto area.
She was a housewife and a member of Viva Drive Church of Christ in Trumann.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman William "Bud" Morrison, second husband, Jerry Turner, a stepson, three sisters, two brothers and her parents, Eugene Littleton and Jessie Irene Ragsdale Crocker.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra (John) Goss of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one grandson, Halston Kelso; two great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Susan) Crocker of Harrisburg; two stepsons, Scotty (Lelia) Turner of Yukon, Okla., and Teddy (Jackie) Turner of Southhaven, Miss.; six stepgrandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today, Jan. 17, at Viva Drive Church of Christ, 224 Viva Drive in Trumann. A celebration of her life will follow at 6 p.m. with Joe Spangler officiating. Burial will be private in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.
