Patsy Blanchard Obituary
JONESBORO - Patsy Ruth Blanchard (Daugherty) passed away at home on Nov. 19, 2024. She was born in Jonesboro on March 17, 1932. Her parents were Cecil Daugherty and Genevieve Shook Daugherty.
She married Kenneth C. Blanchard in 1956 and had two sons, Kenneth C. Blanchard Jr. and David S. Blanchard. She had two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and by her siblings, Gladys, John, Jack, Betty and Linda.
Pat and Ken Sr. were avid golfers and members of the Jonesboro Country Club for most of their lives. She continued to enjoy watching golf long after she could no longer play.
She worshipped at Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Through the church, she gave generously of her time and energy to charitable activities. She was a joyful and loving wife and mother and will be missed every day by the many people who love her.
Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro. A private ceremony in her honor will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cornerstone Church.
