Patsy Clark Obituary

JONESBORO - Patsy Moser Clark, 96, of Jonesboro passed away peacefully from this life at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was born in Jonesboro on Aug. 8, 1926, to the late Nathan Vivian and Hallie Smith Moser.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles "Spud" Clark, and her brother, Hugh "Bud" Moser.

She loved growing beautiful plants and flowers in her yard and greenhouse. She was a past member of the Junior Auxiliary, played the piano and sewed. One of her favorite times was gathering with her Tally Club girlfriends for lunch.

Patsy was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Melanie) Clark of Jonesboro, David (Janice) Clark of Black Rock and Lisa (Mike) Barber of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kelley Coca, Alyssa Van Bebber, Brian Clark, Sara Hawkins, Nathan Clark and Hunter Clark; sister-in-law, Francis; nine great-grandchildren; and great-nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service with immediate family will be officiated by Ross Burton. The interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the professional staff of St. Bernards Villa and the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House for their kindness, support and care of Patsy this past year.

Memorial contributions in Patsy's name may be made to the First Baptist Church, 701 S. Main St., Jonesboro 72401 or the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews Ave., Jonesboro 72401.

Arrangements were made by Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
