JONESBORO - Paul S. Osborn, 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.
He was born Oct. 30, 1933, in Jonesboro and lived his entire life there.
He graduated from Arkansas State University and then became an officer in the Army Reserve.
After his service, Paul went on to become a certified public accountant. With his brother Jim, he founded the Osborn and Osborn Accounting Firm where they worked for over 60 years.

He was united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Zelda Gail Province and they were married for 59 years. Together, they raised five children in a warm and caring home.
His favorite pastime was fishing at Lake Norfork with his family and friends, but his greatest joy in life was his family and he was at his happiest when they gathered together for their many celebrations of life.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Osborn and Laura Hopkins Moore, his loving wife, Gail, and his brother, Jim.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Osborn and wife Cindy of Little Rock and Scott Osborn and wife Mary Beth of Austin, Texas; three daughters, Susan Osborn of Delray Beach, Fla., Sandra Steele of Jonesboro and Stacy McDonald and husband Doyle of Austin; his brothers, George Osborn and wife Janice and Perry Osborn and wife Judy, all of Jonesboro; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Osborn Family. Paul was a fine man and patriarch. He will be deeply missed by so many. His entry through the gates of heaven was his greatest reward for his saving faith in Christ Jesus. What a comfort!

My grandmother simply loved Paul and the whole family. I knew everyone through her. I remember going to the office to deliver a sweet potato pie just before COVID hit. It brought tears to Paul eyes because it reminded him of his mother baking them.
Cherish the memories!

It is with broken hearts to hear of the passing of Mr. Paul Osborn. Mr. Osborn always went out of his way to ask me how I´m doing when I would see him at a restaurant. I´ve had the privilege to know and work with one of his sons,Steve, for decades and Paul certainly raised one of the finest Christian, kind hearted persons I´ve ever known in my life. We are praying for the family to honor one of Jonesboros greatest citizens. May God bless all of you!
