Thomas Acklen Obituary
JONESBORO - Thomas Wayne Acklen passed away April 23, 2025, in Jonesboro. Tommy was born in Memphis, Tenn., Sept. 23, 1943, to the late Clarence Stanley and Pauline Rutherford Acklen. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Acklen.
Tommy was married to the late Lois Hill Acklen for 52 years. He leaves behind two children, Theresa Phillips (John) of Jonesboro, and Wayne Acklen (Lisa) of Franklin, Tenn., and four grandchildren, Justin, Michelle, Caroline and Jonathan.
Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar. Visitation: May 2, 5 to 7 p.m. and May 3, 9:30 a.m. Funeral: May 3, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery on Poplar.
