JONESBORO - Virgle 'B' Passmore, Jr., passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on May 6, 1945, in Jonesboro, to Virgil and Mary Passmore, Sr. Virgle worked for General Electric for 30 years until his retirement, and was a deacon at Fairview Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Army. Virgle loved watching his grandkids, traveling with his wife and watching Jeopardy.
Preceding him in death are his parents, five brothers and five sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Martha Passmore; daughters, Janet aDenham (Mike), Teri Reynolds (Michael); grandchildren, David Findley (Zoey), Dylan Denham (Kassidy), Caleb Robinson, Jamie Denham and Jacob Robinson; great granddaughter, Galilee Denham; and brother, Martin Passmore.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 30, 11 a.m., at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave., Jonesboro, with Robbie McMasters and Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
