Donna F. Nickal

Donna F. Nickal, 59, of Sterling, passed away July 26, 2012, in Sterling. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Tennant Funeral Home.

Donna was born March 23, 1953, in Del Norte to Raynaldo Marques and Mary Medina. She attended schools at Central Elementary, Kearney Middle and Adams City High School, all in Commerce City.

Donna worked for 7-11 in Sterling for 20 years.

She married Darrell Nickal on Feb. 8, 1991.

Donna enjoyed driving her Mustang and riding with Darrell on their Harley Davidsons. She loved all animals, particularly her two cats, Heather and Mutts, loved movies and collected many Native American items, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her big heart, kindness, and her love for all of her family and friends. Her family would like to thank all family and friends for their unconditional love and support at this difficult time.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell of Sterling; mother, Mary Marques of Denver; daughters, Georgie Munch and son-in-law Ralph Brewer of Firestone, Kerry Scott and husband Robert of Westminster; sister, Rebecca Dekov of Commerce City; brothers, Larry Marques of Sterling, Leroy Marques and wife Lisa of Commerce City; sister, Elaine Lopez and husband Guillermo of Woodburn, Ore.; two granddaughters, Latosha and Angie Mungia of Firestone; one grandson, Samuel Scott of Westminster; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and beloved friends; and mother-in-law, Carol Nickal of Akron.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Raynaldo; and brother, Samuel Marques.
