Joyce Dunlap Obituary
Joyce E. Dunlap, 91, of Monticello, passed away at 3:17 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Kirby Medical Center, Monticello.
Joyce was born on November 23, 1933, in White Heath, IL the daughter of Chris and Mabel (Woods) Koss, Sr.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Connie Ashworth of Mahomet; grandchildren, Betty Jo, Mitch, and Chad; 6 great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild; brother, Chris Koss, Jr. and sister Carolyn Golias. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jerry, and granddaughter Cherry.
Joyce worked as an LPN nurse for 35 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bird and squirrel watching, games, puzzles, traveling, and loved babysitting her grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mackey-wrightfuneralhome.com
