Anne-Marie (Grondin) Wellspeak passed from her earthly journey at the age of 46 on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021. She was the beloved wife of 15 years to Paul Wellspeak.
Born on May 13, 1975, in Hartford to Laureat Grondin and Claudette Couture. Anne-Marie was a graduate of Enrico Fermi High School, Enfield. She continued her education, having attended UConn and Asnuntuck Community College. A loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, and aunt she dedicated herself to caring for family and her home. She was a supporter of Dakin Humane Society, Lost and Found Pets, and the Enfield Dog Park Action Committee. Anne-Marie was an advocate for Mental Health Alliance and peer support. She loved crafts of all kinds, was an avid painter, sculptor, and scrapbooker, also loved doing paint by numbers and crocheting.
In addition to her husband Paul and parents, she is also survived by her two sisters: Caroline Mickiewicz and her husband, Jeff, and their children, Emma and Sophie, of Northford and Lucie Robba and her husband, Mike, of Suffield; father-in-law Raymond Wellspeak of West Springfield; and sister-in-law LeighAnne Decoteau and husband Roger and their children, Zachary, Noah, Joshua, and Jordan, of Springfield; and other family in Connecticut and Canada. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Carol Wellspeak.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 1, with a service at the funeral home for 10 a.m., followed by interment in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
