Bryan A. Hoffman, 22, of Amston, Connecticut, tragically passed away at home on November 25, 2023, as a result of a devastating fire. Born on February 12, 2001, in Middletown, CT, Bryan was raised in Hebron, Connecticut, where he attended RHAM High School. He later graduated from Oak Hill School in 2023.
Bryan had a zest for life and was known for his warm, loving nature. He had a passion for collecting stuffed animals, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Bryan loved socializing with his family and friends, and he had a remarkable ability to bring people together. His love extended to his cherished cat Emma, his dog Ginger, and his horse Miriah, whom he adored, as well as his love for the pets of his pet-sitting clients.
An enthusiast of amusement parks, Bryan delighted in trips to Six Flags, where he embraced the thrill of roller coasters and the joy of shared experiences with loved ones. Gaming was another of his favorite pastimes, providing him with hours of entertainment and camaraderie. Additionally, he loved music, dancing, and singing.
Bryan is survived by his loving mother, Shirley (Usaconis) Hoffman, devoted brother Justin Hoffman, and caring aunt Linda Kuchta of Windsor Locks, as well as his uncle Wayne Kuchta. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Hoffman, and his grandmother, Catherine Usaconis.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, with two hours of visitation prior from 5-7 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist them during this challenging time be sent to Shirley Hoffman, 224 Hope Valley Rd., Amston, CT 06231.
