Carole A. Sedar

Carole A. (Superson) Sedar, 80, of South Windsor, beloved wife of Robert S. Sedar, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at her daughter's home. She was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on May 12, 1941, daughter to the late Thaddeus and Wanda (Laduzenski) Superson. She was a graduate of Holyoke High School and went on to graduate from Fisher Junior College in Boston. A resident of South Windsor for over 55 years, she was a volunteer with the Community Service Group at the senior center and a regular at the Lite Aerobics classes.

Along with her husband of over 56 years, Robert, she leaves her daughters, Diane Sedar of South Windsor, and Dawn Cornish of Wilmington, Massachusetts; her two grandchildren, Jocelyn Cornish of Westford, Massachusetts, and Joey Cornish of Wilmington, Massachusetts; and her grand-dog, Sunny, to whom she was the world's best dog grandma. She was predeceased by her brother, John S. Superson.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, June 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. A prayer service will follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Windsor Senior Center to benefit the Community Service Group, or please volunteer a few hours in her memory with a volunteer organization of your choice.
