Daniel Kibbie Obituary
He was born in East Hartford, Sept. 5, 1932, and graduated from Manchester High School in 1950.
He leaves his wife, Ann; daughter, Ann Louise Wertheim and husband, Kevin, of Brunswick, Maine, and their son, Jonathan Wertheim, of New York; son, Daniel Kibbie Jr. and wife, Mariam, and their daughter, Isabella, all of Frisco, Colorado; son, James Kibbie of Manchester; granddaughter, Alyssa Kibbie; and great-grandson, Braylen.
Dan was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for G. Fox & Co. for 22 years, drove for Allied Printing, and retired from Carter Chevrolet six years ago.
Family and friends are invited Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester.
The family extends a special thanks to the visiting nurses at the Vernon VNA for the compassionate care.

Uncle Danny was always there for an honest answer. I loved his candidness no matter what. I will surely miss him for that. I am so happy that he is now resting in peace after a long battle. I will always love you Uncle Danny.

So sorry to hear about Dan passing. He volunteer for us at Assumption Bingo and was well liked he will be missed. May God be with you all during these somber day. Sorry we can't make it to the funeral because we are in Florida. God Bless you all.
