David L. Roe, 75, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Rhonda (Ronnie Hendershot) Roe, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021.

Dave was married to Ronnie, the love of his life for 31 years. He was born in Hartford on Sept. 12, 1946, the son of the late Stilson and Marion Roe. Dave was a graduate of Buckley High School. He worked for Friendly's Corp as a Manager for a number of years and he was hired at Pratt & Whitney and retired from there. He received his Bachelors of Science in Materials Technology from the University of New Haven while he was working at Pratt & Whitney. He enjoyed camping, traveling and was a loyal fan of UConn basketball. A kind, caring, devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather will be dearly missed by all, and he loved his family dearly.

Along with his wife, Ronnie, he leaves his children, Christopher Roe, David Roe, and Tracy (Roe) Moyer, and daughters, Alicia Melillo and Denise Bailey and his son-in-law, Kurt; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, Christopher, Hannah, Henry, Evelyn, Bryce, Alexis, and Finley. He also leaves his sisters, Ruth Colburn and Debbie Parker and brother-in-law, Michael Parker.

Windsor Locks Funeral Home has care of arrangements. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at Grace Episcopal Church, 311 Broad St., Windsor. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Windsor Locks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd. S 4b, Southington, CT 06489.

My heart-felt condolences to you and your family Ronnie. Dave and I worked together at Carpenter Steel in the late 60's. He also played on our USMC RS Hartford softball team, the only non-Marine on the team. Enjoyed our time together! May he rest in peace! God bless!
