Dennis William Lombard

Dennis William Lombard, 67, of Suffield, peacefully passed away on Feb. 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Dennis graduated from Somers High School, in 1974. He pursued a degree in Electronics, which he pursued throughout his career. In July 1980, Dennis married Linda Lee Nilsson and went on to have a child, Kelly Ann Lombard of Enfield, and adopted Linda's two children, James Patrick Lombard of Groesbeck, Texas and Jennifer Michelle Kalen of Fayetteville, Georgia. He went on to marry Sandra Lee Jones in 2003 of West Suffield. Dennis retired in 2021 after owning his own data and telecommunications business, Advanced Telecommunication Group, LLC for several years. Dennis had many hobbies over the years such as hunting, snowmobiling, camping, enjoyed taking care of his animals on the farm and had a deep love for rescuing dogs, volunteer firefighting in both West Stafford, and Somers, and an avid member of the HAM radio community, call sign N1MAT.

Dennis was predeceased by his sister Darlene Lombard Forlano of Norwalk. He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Kathleen Lombard; his three children, James Lombard and his wife, Beth Lombard, Jennifer Lombard Kalen and her husband, Kurt Kalen, and Kelly Lombard and her fiancé, James Weidman; as well as a dear friend Sally Kelsey. Dennis had several grandchildren, James, Krista, Shawn, Brooke and Alexa; as well as one great-grandson, Grayson.

At this time, no services will be held, those interested can reach out to the family members for a future memorial remembrance gathering. His ashes will be spread in his requested final resting place in his favorite area of Vermont.
