Gregory Bossie Obituary
Gregory "Greg" J. Bossie, 63, of Vernon, loving husband of 40 years of Lisa Mae Bossie, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Greg was born on April 10, 1961, in East Hartford, a loving son of the late Clinton and Sherrie Bossie.
He was raised in East Hartford, attended local schools and was a graduate of East Hartford High School. Greg went on to attend Technical Careers Institute in West Haven where he earned a degree in auto body restoration. He was an auto body restoration specialist and was currently working at Southern Auto Sales in East Windsor as an automotive service writer.
In addition to spending time with his family, Greg was an avid animal lover and could be found caring for his pet rabbit. He enjoyed listening to Heavy Metal and Rock music as well as having a passion about cars.
In addition to his loving wife, Lisa, he leaves his cherished daughter, Samantha Bossie of Vernon and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Sartori of Manchester. Along with his parents, Greg was predeceased by his beloved son, Derek Joseph Bossie and his father-in-law, Michael Sartori.
All are welcome to join his family at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Rt-83) in Vernon on Friday, February 21, 2025, for calling hours from 9:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. A Prayer Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by inurnment in Hillside Cemetery in East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that was important to Greg. To leave a condolence, please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
