Harry A. Guyette

1946 - 2021

Harry A. Guyette, 74, of Enfield, beloved husband of 43 years to Margaret "Maggie" (Owen) Guyette, whom was at his side when he entered into eternal rest on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021.

Born Oct. 24, 1946, in Springfield, to the late Herbert A. and Dorothy A. (Weaver) Guyette. He was a graduate of Springfield Trade H.S., Springfield, and then enlisted into the U.S. Army where he proudly served our country from Jan. '66 to Oct. '68 during the Vietnam War. He had resided in Enfield for the past 42 years. Harry was employed with various car dealers and prior to that worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc., Enfield for over 25 years. He was a Shaker Pines Fire Dept. Engineer for 34 years and a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed NASCAR races and especially being on his nephew's crew and car shows showing off his immaculate cars.

In addition to his wife Maggie, he is survived by his nephews, Kevin Newcomb of Stratford, Todd Owen of Somers, and Mark Newcomb of Florida. He was also predeceased by his niece, Kimberly Owen.

Friends are invited to gather with family on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at the funeral home, followed by interment in the Somers Center Cemetery, Somers.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Shaker Pines Fireman's Association, 37 Bacon Road, Enfield, CT 06082.
