1942 - 2017

Mr. David Jackson Main, 74, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, September 9 at his residence. 

 

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Princeton, WV. 

 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. 

 

Jack was born November 16, 1942 in Mercer County, WV to the late John and Beatrice Main.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dora Margaret Hendrick and his nephew, John Richard Hendrick. 

 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Dillon Main; his cousin, Roberta “Bobbie” Brown of Greensboro; his niece, Beverly Calhoun of Florida; his nephew, Kevin Hendrick and wife, Rayette, of Roanoke, VA; his sisters in law, Edna William of Mooresville, Ruth Crismond and husband, James, of Hickory, Connie Francis, and husband, Lowell, of Valdese; and his brothers in law, Tommy Dillon and wife, Linda, of Charlotte, and Roy Dillon and wife, Barbara, of Mesa, AZ. 

 

A special thank you to Richard and Mindy Cooley, and their girls, Morgan and Casey, for their kindness and help during Jack’s illness.
