James Enes Obituary

James (Jim) Enes
James (Jim) Enes, 68, of Ellington, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Born on June 15, 1956, in Hartford, he was the son of the late William Jr. and Dorothy (Forbes) Enes.
Jim was raised in Ellington and was a graduate of Ellington High School Class of 1974.
Jim was an animal lover who also enjoyed bicycling, hiking and horseback riding. He was an expert Alpine skier who served with Ski Patrol in Steamboat Springs, CO. Jim was also an avid fisherman who constantly worked to maintain the beauty of our natural world.
He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Soltysik of Wallingford and MaryEllen Krechko and husband Mark of Tolland; his brothers, William (Skip) H. Enes III and wife Janet of Ellington and John R. Enes and wife Michelle of Dania Beach, FL. He is also survived by his one aunt, six nephews, three nieces, two great-nephews, one great-niece and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Kathy (Hunt) Enes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 15th between the hours of 4 PM to 6 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.
