Jane Buck

Jane (Porcello) Buck, 56, entered into eternal life June 28, 2007 in Enfield after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jane was born on September 20, 1950 in Hartford, and had resided in Enfield most of her life and in Broad Brook for the last fifteen years. Jane was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families at the CT Children's Place, East Windsor, for twenty-two years. Jane's interests were always in helping others and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a beautiful person that always wanted the best for the people around her. Jane spent her life working to improve the lives of others.

She is survived by her beloved husband of twenty three years, Kenneth Buck; her beloved mother, Amelia (Lamanga) Porcello of Enfield; her loving children, a son, Justin Buck of East Windsor, a daughter, Leticia Colon of Windsor; three beloved grandchildren, Myles, Nya, and Liam. Jane is also survived by her brother, Lenn Porcello, and her sister, Susan Krane, both of Enfield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her Dad, James Porcello, and her infant sister, Madeline Ann Porcello.

Jane's family will receive relatives and friends in celebration of her life on Sunday, July 1, 2007 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
