Jeffrey Bilodeau Obituary
Jeffrey was born in Manchester on Dec. 16, 1979, and briefly lived in South Windsor, where he attended Orchard Elementary School. He had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life, and received his diploma from Manchester High School. Jeffrey was employed by North Central C-Med in Hartford, and served as a dedicated emergency dispatcher. Jeff was devoted to public safety, and was a former member of the Manchester 8th District Fire Department, where he served as a firefighter and dispatcher. He was the recipient of numerous awards; including a Life Saving Award, for his courageous efforts in saving a woman from a house fire. He also served numerous years as an EMT and dispatcher for the Ambulance Service of Manchester, as well as, AMR in Springfield. Jeff had a passion for martial arts, achieving his black belt in ITF Tae Kwon-Do. He had the ability to bring a smile to anyone's face with his quick-witted sense of humor and contagious laugh. Jeffrey will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may call Saturday, Nov. 26, at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, from 1 to 5 p.m. with words of remembrance at 4:30 p.m.
Burial will be private.
