John Boucher Obituary

John "Jack" Boucher passed peacefully on Nov. 19, 2021, with family by his side.

Jack was born in Thompsonville on Feb. 26, 1930, to Homer and Esther (Fisher) Boucher. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1947. He went on to honorably serve his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Randolph. Jack worked at Anderson Labs in Bloomfield for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, sons and their children. He was never one to miss a game that his sons or grandchildren played in. Jack loved all his grandchildren but he had a special sparkle in his eyes for his four great-grandchildren. Jack was a gifted handy man. Whatever was broken, he found a way to fix it. Jack's greatest legacy is the loved ones he leaves behind.

Jack is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary (Beth) Boucher; his sons and their wives, Scott (Deb) and Craig (Sandi); his grandchildren Michael (Erica), Bryan (Maria), Zachary and Gabriella; and his great-grandchildren, Annalise, Donovan, Carrigan, and Liliana. Jack is also survived by his brother Bill (Liz); as well as many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family would also like to send gratitude and love to his sisters-in-law Pamela Michaels, RSM, and Sue Keefe, RSM, for the love and care they showed Jack. Jack was predeceased by his parents, brother Larry; and sister Jacqueline.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family from 9 to 11 a.m., at Leete Stevens Funeral Home 61 South Road, Enfield, on Nov. 24, 2021. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Enfield.

So sorry to hear of Jack´s passing. He always made me laugh when I´d visit my parents. I´ll always remember how he and my Dad would contrive schemes to eliminate the woodchucks that plagued their vegetable gardens. Jack and Beth were always fun and welcome "surprises"as my folks´ Mystery Guests at their weekly card games. Jack was a good guy who will be missed.
