John Connors Obituary

John Robert Connors
John Robert Connors, 67, of Hartford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Wendy (Cochran) Wilhelm.
He was born on July 3, 1957, in Hartford to the late John Clemment Connors and Winifred (Lynch) Connors.
John proudly served his country as a Navy veteran and was a lifetime member of AMVETS. Known for his warm heart and quick wit, John believed in the power of laughter and made it his mission to bring joy to others every day. He had a love for rock & roll, fishing, collecting clocks, cats and riding his Harley.
One of his greatest joys was playing Santa Claus during the holiday season. Starting the day after his birthday each year, he would grow out his beard in preparation to spread cheer to children and families alike.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Shane Connors, Shannon Adams, John Cade, Dylan Branch, and Sarah Taylor; his cherished grandchildren, Michael Babcock, Cassie Cade, Trevor Cade, Austin Taylor, and Shaylyn Taylor. He is also survived by his siblings, Gene O'Neil, Dan O'Neil, Peter Connors, Tom Connors, Joyce Kanoff, Judy Bunn, and Beverly Tambling along with his many nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his many friends.
He is predeceased by his brother, Mike Connors.
John's legacy of kindness and humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date private to the family.
