John Landry Obituary

John W. Landry, 74, entered into peace on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021 at Parkway Pavilion in Enfield.

He was born in Exeter, New Hampshire, the son of the late Homer and Grace (St. Jean) Landry. John was an Enfield resident for over 38 years and previously was a resident of Torrington, Connecticut and Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. He was a self-employed drywall contractor in the construction business for over 50 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Georgette (Gigi) Putney Landry, two sons and their wives, Jon and Debra Landry of Enfield and Jeffrey and Kathy Landry of Willimantic; a daughter and her husband, Shannon and Tony Cammilleri of Enfield, a step-son, Jeff Ekenbarger of Stafford; father-in-law, Harry Putney of Enfield, seven grandchildren, David Landry, Samantha Landry, and Devon Landry, all of Enfield, Eric Landry, Jack Landry, and Alicia Arentz of North Carolina, and Taylor Landry of East Windsor, as well as a brother, Ralph Landry; three sisters, Lucille Moreau, Maxine Canney, and Irma Wright all in New Hampshire, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 1, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 5 p.m. at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield. The burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116
