6th grade, Mr. Klapik's classroom and a budding romance between two 11 year olds....I'll never forget my first love! I've been so fortunate to be able to see you, your lovely wife Dawn and your boys over the years through my sister and brother in law, Robbin and Ken McGee. My heart breaks for your family but I'm sure they're comforted by the lives you've touched in so many ways. You're truly special. May He bless you, and keep your family close.

To Joe's family,
I was very sad to hear of Joe's accident and your loss. I went to high school with Joe. (Class of 1974) We spent many days laughing at his jokes in our classes together. It appears from reading this guest book that his zest for life never faded. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dear Dawn, boys and family, It is so hard to say goodbye, but I'd like to think that Joey will be there riding shot-gun with Scottie in his work truck and with us on all our bike rides and runs. There will always be a place there for him beside us as well as in our hearts. Sharing in your love, loss and grief, Dawn & Scott

To the Scrivano Family, Joe and I were very close in high school and I think of him, often. My son has heard stories of things we did and how much fun it was to pal around with him. We have not been in contact, but in reading this guestbook I can see he touched a lot of people's lives in many ways. Joe will live on in the memories of the many people whom he touched throughout his life. He was one of my closest friends growing up and I will always hold on to those memories. Please accept my sincere condolences in your loss.

To the Scrivano family-those I knew from long ago and those I never had a chance to meet. A few years back I ran into Joe. He was quick to show me pictures of 3 beautiful sons. He spoke of his wife that made a house a home. He described his home in the country as his Paradise-What a lucky man. He has a special place in the hearts of many people. He will be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh. He will be remembered as forever young. I know how hard it is to love him and lose him. I offer you my deepest sympathy. Have strength.
Peace to all,Linda

Words cannot express our incredible sadness for the loss of Joe; husband, father and the most loyal of friends to each of us. We rode together, laughed together, cried together, celebrated and ate and drank together and will be together again some day...all of us. For now Alan will keep Joe laughing and will be company for him along with the others who have passed and were friends of his. Joe, we will miss you deeply and forever but will never, ever forget you.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
