Judith MacInnes DiBiasio, 88, formerly of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late Carmino G. DiBiasio died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Manchester Manor.
Judith was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on April 13, 1933, daughter to the late Murdoch and Ruth (Dunbar) MacInnes. She grew up in North Smithfield, Rhode Island and was a graduate of Burriville High School with the Class of 1951. Judith met and married the love of her life, Carmino G. DiBiasio on Jan. 23, 1954, and together they lived in Italy before moving to Warwick, Rhode Island and later to South Windsor. Judith worked as a veterinary technician for many years before she and her husband opened the Sewing Works where she taught sewing, quilting and was a sewing machine dealer for Viking and Pfaff sewing machines. She enjoyed baking, animals and of course, sewing. A kind, caring, loving, and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be dearly missed.
She leaves her daughters, Leslie R. Dacier and her husband, Joseph Rovinski of Exeter, Rhode Island, Nancy Cucca and her husband, Alan of Manchester, and Sandra Facemire and her husband, Dwayne of Burnet, Texas; her sister, Elizabeth Deal of Southampton, New Jersey; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Andrew DiBiasio.
A memorial service to celebrate Judith's life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. Burial will be private at the request of her family.
