Judy Ann Cicco
Judy Ann Cicco passed away unexpectedly at 58. She grew up in South Windsor, CT, where she lived her whole life.
Judy was legally blind and fought courageously her whole life with this disability.
She loved children and babysat for many families in South Windsor that appreciated the care that she gave their children. Judy also worked for many years in the Day Care profession.
Judy was a proud, caring, and loving aunt to 5 nieces and nephews, and her one Godchild. She was a great sister to her siblings, and devoted daughter to her father and mother. Judy was a good friend to many and had a special bond with one of her best friend's daughters, who Judy adored.
Her favorite pet was a guinee pig named Christmas. Which was her favorite time of the year.
Judy is preceded by 6 other brothers and sisters, and her father and mother.
She was a great caregiver to her mother and father as they aged. Our father was one of her best friends and heroes. She missed him dearly.
Judy fell in love with her fiancé, Joseph Mowel, who recently passed away in January of 2024. He was a sweet and kind man that had tough struggles in his final years. That did not stop Judy from wholeheartedly expressing her love and care for him, right to the end.
Judy leaves behind a brother and sister.
There will be no Wake, just a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, celebration of her life, we encourage everyone to join us at St Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Rd., South Windsor, on Saturday, May 25th, at 10 a.m. There will be a gathering after in the church downstairs for some food, beverages, and the sharing of wonderful memories.
